Nils Arne Helgerød, vokal og Petter Amundsen, orgel

Nils Arne Helgerød made studies in singing with teachers at The Norwegian State Academy of Music. Has also made studies with the English Ian Partridge, and the Danish Susanna Eken.

Has toured as singer and as soloist with choirs and ensembles in Norway and Scandinavia, the Baltics, different European contries as Germany, Belgium, France, Austria and Switzerland, including Slovenia and Israel.

Singing mostly Church Music, Oratories, and religious Folk Music, but has also been singing modern Opera.

Has together with the Oslo Chamberchoir done a lot of religious folk music, and made studies with the famous norwegian Sondre Bratland, specialist in ancient folk singing.

Has been member of The Norwegian Soloists Choir, and Oslo Barock Soloists.

Are working together making a Church Concert Concept with Georg Reiss and Ulf Nilsen, thinking “musically crossover”.

 

 

Petter Amundsen har studert orgel og kirkemusikk ved Norges Musikkhøyskole med Bjørn F. Boysen, Gotthard Arnér og Kåre Nordstoga, men vil særlig fremheve Karen Tyse Johnstad som var hans lærer på Foss videregående. Debut i Oslo konserthus i 1989. Konserter i inn- og utland. Har markert seg med TV-serie om Shakespeares skjulte koder (NRK) og boken Organisten, skrevet sammen med Erlend Loe. Han har vært organist i flere Oslokirker, bl.a. Bydøy og Skøyen.
